AIGA SF moved into its new office with the San Francisco Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) in December 2006.

How are you feeling today - exactly? Cinthia Wen, the creative director at Noon, tackled this question scientifically in 504 Hours, a poster she donated to an AIGA benefit auction of works on the theme "Within Four Walls."

Chen Design Associates has recently designed and published a new book dedicated to 100 different ways we can bring peace into our lives. This beautiful book is on view and available for purchase through AIGA San Francisco.

AIGA SF Playing Cards
When asked to put together a (functional) deck of playing cards for the San Francisco chapter of the AIGA to be based on Bay Area characters, design firm Turner & Associates seized on the prospect like a hippie on a loaded bong.

Challenged by former chapter director Amos Klausner to make the deck as indigenous as possible to the Bay Area, Turner's creative staff immediately set out to identify those characters who define the area's eclectic charm. This decision ultimately led down a path strewn with surfers, hippies, geeks, nudists, tourists and wine snobs. [MORE ]
