Enrichment Scholarship

Congratulations to Jack Chung, our 2007 Enrichment Scholarship recipient.

AIGA Transitions
AIGA Transitions was created for student members to address topics in navigating the transition from school to work. The editors for AIGA Transitions are AIGA national board members Petrula Vrontikis and Terry Irwin.

Past topics include: interviewing, portfolio tips, freelancing, your first job, and internships. Transitions is archived on the AIGA website.

A teaser page is available to nonmembers, but the full newsletter is available to members only. Any AIGA member may subscribe to the newsletter by updating his or her profile.

Coming Soon: The Rick Tharp Design Scholarship
The Rick Tharp Design Scholarship was created to honor the memory of Rick Tharp, a world-class graphic designer whose work influenced the entire design industry. Rick Tharp was talented and passionate. His work was innovative and often humorous.

This scholarship honors the commitment, wit and brilliance that Tharp brought to his profession and his community. The Rick Tharp Design Scholarship is co-sponsored by the Western Art Directors Club and AIGA San Francisco.

Never Stop Learning
The Bay Area is a great place to learn about graphic design. Many schools in our own backyard offer courses and degrees on different facets of design. Around the bay there is no reason to stop learning.
